The devastation caused by Hurricane Helene is estimated to be over 600 square miles, larger than that of Hurricane Katrina and covering 6 states - FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, and VA. Western Carolina and Eastern Tennessee - two of the epicenters of destruction remain mainly inaccessible by road. Our neighbors desperately need our support. This is a call to action for all Air Control Concepts teammates. We are working with Hobbs & Associates in VA and TN to share resources for relief for our affected areas. Stay tuned for details on those efforts in our next update.
Volunteers and emergency responders continue to work tirelessly to clear debris, restore power, provide temporary shelter and supplies for displaced families, and aid in rescue and recovery efforts. Donations from individuals and organizations are critical in funding these efforts, enabling the rebuilding of homes and infrastructure. As the affected areas begin the long process of recovery, the resilience and solidarity of the community play a vital role in overcoming this natural disaster. With compassion and determination, we can help rebuild lives and restore hope.
GOOD NEWS
Amidst the tragedy, there is good news. Lives are being saved, and critical supplies are getting into the hands of those in need. Fred Rogers, better known as TV icon Mister Rogers, once shared, “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. 'You will always find people who are helping." Today, we are looking for helpers, and there are MANY among our teammates.
Thank you to Insight Partners’ Adam Parker, Clint Burns, and Justin Lynch, who went to Marshall, NC, last Monday, 10/7, to provide supplies for the community and labor for Tony Mormino and Sean McConnell as they worked to clean out the Insight Partners office and Capitola Building. Adam continues to deliver trailers and planeloads of supplies to Western NC by partnering with the Lake Norman Airpark off Perth Road, Mooresville, NC.
The Faulkner Haynes team, through the coordination by Jonathan Lewis, Britt Oswald, and Justin Powell, delivered a large shipment of essential supplies to Asheville to aid in disaster relief efforts. Thanks to team members' generous donations and hard work the community received much-needed support. The team is planning another supply run next week and is seeking additional donations of cleaning products, wipes, diapers, Clorox wipes, paper towels, and toilet paper. Donations can be dropped off or shipped to the Raleigh office at 3400 Yonkers Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604, Suite 110.

Shout out to Insight Parts and Aftermarket Parts Group: Brad Atwell, Rhydon Atzenhoffer, and Travis Craft, who have been volunteering, delivering supplies, and collecting donations for support across the western North Carolina mountains. They are connecting with local churches and community groups to provide relief.
Shout out to Jeff Lyons of Hobbs & Associates, who secured 18 pallets of water for Eastern TN and Western NC.
These are just a few of the folks making a difference in the lives of others today.
